No Back To Origin For Laser Cutting Machine
What we can do if x and y axis does not go back to origin for laser cutting machine with RUIDA control system?
Turn on machine, press" ESC" on DSP screen of laser cutting machine, then move X axis manually on DSP screen, and touch limit sensor by hand, now see if light on mainboard is on.
If not on, then use multi-meter to test the wire from limit sensor to mainboard to see is limit sensor broken or wire problem.
The circle is related with limit sensor of laser cutting machine. Those four points are light, from down to up position, port 1 and 4 should be on if you touch limit sensor by hand.
If not on, then use multi-meter to test the wire from limit sensor to mainboard to see is limit sensor broken or wire problem.

Solution for No Laser Given OUT
When you use laser engraving machine, you may encountered the issue of no laser given out. There are 3 reasons for no laser given out. 1. Laser tube, 2. Laser power supply, 3. The wire between laser tube and power supply.
Exclusion method: 1. Find another wire to short connect with P and G port. If laser comes out, then it means laser power supply and laser tube can work, the wire connection is with problem.
2 Find laser power supply, pull off its signal terminal, like the below photothen press TEST, connect the cathode clip to the casing to see if there is fire comes out. If there is, then it means that the laser power supply can work, if not, then it means that the power supply is with problem.
3 Check if the wire between laser power supply and cathode/anode of laser tube, to see if burnt.
4If you press TEST key, it is with laser given out, while no laser given out when engraving, then measure the voltage of Y2 terminal on the control card when the machine is engraving.

1. Feed into lube oil to linear guide on laser engraving machine and laser cutting machine. After using for a while on laser machine, the dust and fume could viciate linear guide. Turn off laser power, clean the linear guide with soft cloth, then feed into lube oil. Then move the axis to ensure oil get into the slider.Then mount on linear guide firslty, then mount on screw but no fixing. Keeping levelness, fix tape and slider, mount on lens, adjust the laser beam path on x direction.
2. Lens and Mirror Cleaness. After using for a while for laser engraving machine and laser cutting machine, the dust and fume will adhere to the lens and mirror surface. And this will affect laser engraving and cutting depth and accuracy. Usually per week, clean with absolute alcohol.
3. Feeding Oil To Bearing. For ensuring fine cutting and engraving result, some bearing need feeding oil regularly. Clean dust from bearing, feeding into oil by syringe needle slowly, and turn around bearing while feeding.
4. Belt Adjustment. If belt is too loose, the it cause overlapping appearance, if belt is too tight, then will cause belt wearing out. So after using for a while, please adjust the screw to belt to keep the belt with suitable level.
5. Laser Tube on laser engraving machine Maintenance. Suggest using distilled water to cool down laser tube. But after using for a perid, there will left limescale in the laser tube. T hen we could put some vinegar to take off limescale. Then clean the laser tube to last laser tube life.
