1.  On cnc wood router, usually we call permanentmagnetsteppermotor, it is 2 phase, torque and volume is smaller, usually step angle is 7.5 or 15.
For 3-Phase VR step motor, it could realize big torque output;
 For another kind of stepper motor, called hybrid stepper motor, it adopts the advantage of PM and VR stepper motor, usually is with 2 phase and 5 phase. For 2 phase, the step angle is 1.8 and 5 phase's step angle is 0.72.
2. What is holding torque?
Holding torque means the torque of stator holding rotor when the steper motor does not turning. It is the most important parameter for stepper motor. Usually, stepper's moment of forcce is close to the torsional moment. A stepper's low speed torque will vary directly with current. How quickly the torque falls off at faster speeds depends on the winding inductance and the drive circuitry it is attached to, especially the driving voltage.
3. What is Detent Torque?
Synchronous electric motors using permanent magnets have a remnant position holding torque (called detent torque or cogging, and sometimes included in the specifications) when not driven electrically. Soft iron reluctance cores do not exhibit this behavior.
4. What is the precision of stepper motor?
Its precision is 3-5% of step angle.
5. What the surface temprature that steper motor can afford?

It may occurs misalignment when cnc wood router works, there are several reasons may cause this problem,

1. Driving motor. Electronic devices and componets in the driving motor could cause misalignment appearance. If this appearance is not ofen, try to reduce the cnc router moving speed to see if still with disalignment. If always with disalignment, then have to fix or replace driving motor.
2. Voltage. CNC router requires higher power, if voltage is lower than noramally need, the lower power will cause disalignment, usually occursed on y axis. This may because of outsider voltage lower or there is with high power device on the same wire, such as electric welding. The solution is mounting on 5000w stabilized power supply with the tolerance less than 5%.
3. Interface board, mainboard, pinboard. If these boards are with problem, then cnc wood router one axis or three axis does not move, this will cause cnc router with disalignment.
4. Motor. If it is because of stepper motor or servo motor, then the machine will not move on certain direction, will not move even if you turn the ballscrew.
5. Machine body. Some spare parts loosen, impurity on surface also could cause disalignment. Take example, if shaft joint is loosen or broken, can cause disalignment, if no clean up or oil on guide and orbit, also could cause disalignment.

1. Considering glass is fragile, when we fix glass on the working table, should be careful and put PVC board or thin wood piece under clamping bar.

2. Before tool calibration, turn on spindle. When the spindle cutter is closing glass, using jog movement, every down distance is within 0.1mm.

3. About the home point on Z, better move spindle cutter to the center of whole glass, confirm the z home point at this position. In this way, the depth of engraving will be even.

4. After engraving glass by cnc router, glass powder should be clean in time by water.
