How A CNC Router Works?

CNC router can move and work in three directions at one time. X axis moves left and right, Y axis is the longest distance that CNC router move, it can move front and back, and Z axis moves up and down. 

You can use AutoCAD etc software to design the file, the file format can be *dxf, *dwg, *plt etc, then input the file to Type3, ArtCAM etc software, create tool path, save as G code, nc file. 

Then input the final program to NC studio or DSP handle remote controller or Syntec controller of cnc router. Then you can realize your design on the processing material.

Safety Tips for CNC Router Operation

CNC Router:

1.Never try to touch the bit and spindle when the machine is in the process of working on material;

2.Do not open the control cabinet when the machine is working. About this point, OMNI has taken measures, there is safety switch with Schneider brand. When you try to open the control cabinet when the machine is working, you turn around the switch, then the switch can turn off machine automatically without damaging machine.

3.Check the voltage and current, confirm it is right one for machine.

4.Please fit dust collector system on the machine when you works on the material, which easily caused the powder. This is for protecting environment and operator health.

5.Turn off power after the CNC router finish the work.

1. CNC router can work on the wood, stone, acrylic etc material easily. People's imagination is endless, so the design work by cnc router is also endless.

2. CNC router can  process the material at rather higher resolution than by hand or other tool. CNC router can engrave or cut material exactly as your design in the computer after you set it.

What is CNC router

CNC router can be separated to three parts:computer, router controller and router machine. The working way is: We design and create the program in CAD/CAM software on PC, and send this program to the router controller, then the controller can transfer it to pulse train recognized by stepper or servo motor, at last, the motor will control the router form the tool path on x, y and z Axis. At the same time, the router head fitted with the suitable kit, will work on the material fixing on working table to complete the job as designed in the computer.
